Train with New Mexico Department of Public Safety and NRA approved instructors and classes. This 15-hour class includes personalized hands-on training. Classes are $200 for initial training. Includes 10% discount on your next Tactical Solutions Institute class.

Defensive Handgun Level I

This class is designed as a skill builder to enhance safe gun handling, improve basic shooting skills, improve accuracy, and develop speed. It is an intensive two-day class that includes shoot/don't shoot situations, moving targets, malfunction drills, shooting while moving, and the use of cover and concealment.

Prerequisites: None

Cost: $350. Can be taken 1 day at a time for $200.00 per day. $50 discount for Public Safety Officers and their immediate family (spouse, mother, father, son, daughter) on two-day classes.

Defensive Handgun Level II

This class builds on the skills acquired in the Defensive Handgun Level I class. It is a two-day class that also introduces injury drills, low light and night shooting using various light sources, and room clearing exercises. Extensive use of tactical situations provides added stress to enhance the training.

Prerequisites: Defensive Handgun Level I or equivalent

Cost: $350. Can be taken 1 day at a time for $200.00 per day. $50 discount for Public Safety Officers and their immediate family (spouse, mother, father, son, daughter) on two-day classes.
